When I got to the till, the staff member told me the price tag was wrong and claimed they actually cost £16.99 – more than four times the displayed price! I asked to speak to the manager to sort this out properly, but instead of checking the label or honouring the price shown, the manager changed it again and said the real price was £21.99. It feels like a total scam – putting cheap prices on items just to get you to pick them up, then jacking the cost up once you’re at the counter. This is completely false advertising and extremely unprofessional. No apology, no effort to fix it, just different made-up numbers every time I asked. I will not be shopping here again, and I’m telling all my friends and family to avoid this place too. Do not trust the prices you see on the shelves – they clearly don’t mean anything here.
