  Visited the store Saturday morning, I could not have asked for a more helpful young girl the long brown hair and glasses. She could not do enough to help me .I didn’t get her name, sorry. But the store should be aware how amazing this girl is 😊.

  Went to look for formal wear and suits. Not what it used to be, only really had wedding styles with shimmering trousers and bold colours. Poor array of sizes for what was there, couldn't find mine (definitely don't be tall). They don't do shirt and tie packs any more either. Maybe this is all because of the working from home but it's changing now and more people are going back in (hence why I was there). Ended up going across to Sainsbury's. Got some trousers there but they didn't have much to offer either. Took a white shirt from Matalan, it was thin and showed through. Prices still ok so 2 stars

  I visited the store this morning with my husband and our 5 year old daughter. During our visit, my daughter urgently needed the toilet. We went to the customer toilets, only to find a notice on the door stating that they were out of service. My daughter became upset and said she was going to wet herself, so we quickly went across the store to ask a member of staff at the checkout whether she could use the staff toilet instead, given that the customer facilities were unavailable. We were told that customers are not allowed to use the staff toilets under any circumstances and were told to try Sainsbury's instead. I found this response extremely disappointing. Refusing access to a toilet for a young child when the public toilets are closed is unreasonable and lacks compassion. I understand that businesses may not want everyone using staff facilities, but exceptions should be made for young children, disabled people, and those with urgent needs. Basic access to a toilet is a fundamental necessity. As a result of this experience, we left the store. I am very disappointed by the way the situation was handled.

  1st visit for a while x fantastic store love the way its been altered and looks amazing x excellent display of clothes and home x the atmosphere is excellent, fitting area great location, good self scanning check out as well and the traditional x fabulous clothes had a good visit will be back cheers nicki t

  I always liked how Matalan Lincoln was one of the easiest shops to try on clothes, hardly ever had to queue for the changing rooms! With the new change to the fitting rooms it was a nightmare today! I ended up leaving without trying on the clothes I was planning to buy and leaving them behind! Why change something that was one of your best things about this store!!
