  Very disappointing to see such a large store with the most grumpy/ miserable staff. The lady who served me was more interested in gossip than serving. Firstly I was not greeted in any way after waiting a while with a baby. I had to request for a bag which didn’t fit my purchase and I was not told there aren’t any big bags. She was throwing the items in and not putting them in any manner to try and make them fit. I was with a baby so my hands were full already as my baby was starting to feel agitated and then she just passed me some items without a bag not telling me it doesn’t fit or do you want another bag. When I questioned her she said we don’t have any big bags. Did she not think to give me another bag? Such a rude lady and has put me off from ever going back there again. If this is customer service then I am not visiting any TK Maxx stores. She needs to be taught basic manners on how to greet people. It clearly looked like she doesn’t like working in the store.

  Great range of products from bedding to wallpaper. There's a small cafe too, they dont always have a lot but the food is nice and fresh.

  The T K Maxx at Thurmaston Shopping Centre is not particularly large, as it shares its first-floor space with Home Sense. During the festive season, there was a wide selection of products on sale. However, similar to other T K Maxx locations, this store appeared to be quite unorganized. My primary concern with this particular visit was the approach taken by the staff and the manager. A member of staff observed that one person from our group had joined the queue to pay, and we were waiting for her return. The staff member then inquired if we were waiting for someone who was paying. Approximately two minutes later, I noticed the manager approaching and asking us the same question. While I understand that she may not have seen or heard our prior conversation with her staff, what I found disheartening was a comment I overheard, "why they keep sitting in their car whole day and come to shop at last minute." Such a remark is not ideal for someone in a customer service management position. Despite this isolated incident, I generally appreciate T K Maxx and their customer service; this was an uncharacteristic negative experience for me. this is 1st of a kind bad experience i say.
