Every visit feels like a treasure hunt, and you can often find well-known brands for much less than their original retail price. I wouldn’t recommend visiting at weekends or after work, though, as it gets extremely busy. The store can feel very crowded, and because there are so many products, you’ll need to take your time if you want to find the best bargains. Upstairs you’ll find the men’s, children’s, home and pet sections. Downstairs you’ll find women’s clothing, shoes, luggage, handbags, skincare, makeup and accessories. My only criticism is the checkout. Although there are several tills downstairs, there usually aren’t enough staff working, so I almost always have to queue. If possible, I’d recommend visiting on weekday mornings or during quieter hours. I’ve also ordered online before, and the packaging was excellent. One thing to keep in mind is that stock changes constantly. For example, if you find a pair of shoes you love, they may not have your size because they don’t always stock every size of the same style. The store is located right in the heart of Leicester city centre, making it very easy to access. Assistance dogs are welcome, but other pets are not allowed inside. If you enjoy discovering hidden gems and designer brands at lower prices, TK Maxx is definitely worth a visit. I rarely leave empty-handed! 😊
