  I visited Matalan on kirkstall road Road today and went downstairs to look at the luggage. There was an elderly gentleman and a young lady there, and unfortunately I found their attitude quite unfriendly. When I asked about the luggage, I felt I was simply told to “check it out” without much help, and their facial expressions came across as mocking and unwelcoming. I left feeling disappointed with the customer service. I hope the staff can be more polite, welcoming and helpful towards customers in the future.

  Just been to matalan in kirkstall and was really pleased with the selection of clothes I have picked up, however the experience at the tills really let it down. I queued up to go to an actual till as some of my items had security tags on. When queuing up, I was told to go to a self check out in which I told them I didn’t want to. Ended up having to use self check out and a women who worked there came to take tags off and ending up scanning my items again which I had already done. It then took about 10 minutes for her to log into her staff thing to void the items in which then took even longer. Not happy with the experience at the tills, could of been easily avoided if they had of just let me go to a normal fill in the first place like i wanted to!

  A lady called Linda was so helpful with me in getting the right size tracksuit ,.and then Charlie at the checkout was brilliant, she's a shining example of customer service , thanks Charlie god bless.

  Customer service absolutely shocking at this store. Will never return to this store ever again. They just not interested in there customers at all

  Brilliant store with lovely staff members!! Nicky went above and beyond for me and my daughter ❤️
