    Horrible customer service from the woman at the fitting rooms. I waited in a queue to enter in which she shouts at me to wait where i was… when i was already waiting. I walk in with multiple items of clothing in which she loudly sighed and said “jesus christ why do you have so much”. I brushed it off and she started counting my items despite me already telling her how many I have. She divided them in half so I don’t go in with all at once (which i have no problem with). However the other half she held for me was launched across the floor into a dusty corner. When coming to receive the second half to try on she again complained saying i have “bare stuff” and it makes her job harder. She hands them to me with no hangers, demanding i put them back on, and the ones she couldn’t be bothered to were dumped on the changing room floor and she aggressively shut the curtain while huffing and puffing . I then overhear her complaining to the other worker that it was busy and so many people want to try things on… as if that isn’t her job? Overall just wasn’t a pleasant experience and it’s the second time i have encountered this exact woman. If you don’t have the patience to work in customer service then simply don’t. I leave the changing rooms and she’s trying to rush me out. I wanted to get a different size of an item but because of this one woman was reluctant to and therefore left it. Such a shame as the clothing is great but this woman seriously needs to sort her attitude out. I couldn’t catch her name but she was older and of black origin (only stating to identify her).

    After my purchase they asked for my email for a receipt, I’m usually happy for an email receipt from other companies but have noticed with new look they also sign you up for marketing (think this goes against GDPR?) When I said I’d like paper, the lady at the till said it would take a few minutes and she would have to load it on to another till to print? If she could only do an e receipt from that till, she should have asked to start with if that was ok. It felt a bit tricksy to get an email out of me.

    Had just made a purchase and then on our way out some T-shirts caught our eyes, 10 minutes before they were due to close and a staff member shouted across the store at us saying “can you make your payment we’re trying to close” then proceeded to close one of the shutters.

    On 04/02/2026, I had an unacceptable experience at New Look Watford due to staff behaviour.(older staff by age ) I was made to feel uncomfortable and treated with suspicion while simply shopping, despite doing nothing wrong.This is not the fist time I have been experiencing this problem they have always giving unnecessary attitude towards customers specially older staff members . This is not an isolated incident. Staff attitude and professionalism at this store are clearly an ongoing issue. Customers should not feel judged or disrespected. Management needs to address this immediately.
