Ridiculous Click and Collect Policy! My wife placed an order for C&C at this branch of TK Maxx and filled in the question “person who will be picking this up” as me. Fast forward to the day of collection and I turn up to collect the items, give them the order number and my ID. But it’s not the name that placed the order. Upon asking whether my name was further down in the order details, the store assistant said no. I provided her with the order number and the name of the person who placed the order but they would not let me collect. The store assistant brought over the duty manager who gave a very condescending summary of why it wasn’t possible - because of people taking the wrong items. I could understand a certain level of security on a large or expensive purchase, but this was a £24 pair of kids wellies! Next, M&S and other chains manage sufficiently with a first line of address and postcode verification for collection. Why can’t TK Maxx? What are the chances that someone looking to acquire orders immorally/illegally has the exact order number and name of the orderer to hand at pickup? Ridiculous.

TK Maxx stevenage, unfortunately it does look a bit like a jumble sale in the cloths area. I did walk in and walk out again. It was a Sunday, maybe it's better on other days??? The Harlow store is layed out organized neatly. Easier to shop.
