  I had a very disappointing experience at TK Maxx Hatfield. I purchased a pair of women’s shoes for work. I tried them on briefly while shopping in the store and then again at home. Within a very short time, they caused severe blisters on both of my feet. When I returned to the store, I explained the situation. Instead of listening, I was immediately accused of wearing the shoes outside, despite the original labels still being attached. I even offered to show photographs of the blisters on my feet, but the staff member refused to look at them. What upset me the most was the attitude. I felt that I was being treated as though I was dishonest, rather than as a genuine customer trying to explain what had happened. I contacted TK Maxx Customer Service while I was in the store. The telephone customer service representative was polite, helpful, and opened a case for me. However, the store manager chose to contact Customer Service herself and still refused the refund. Good customer service starts with listening respectfully to customers before making assumptions. Unfortunately, this experience has left me very disappointed, and I hope TK Maxx reviews how customer complaints are handled in this store.

  Very hit and miss in TK Maxx but overall we have has some very nice bits from the Hatfield store...
