Ernest Jones blamed it on “accidental damage” and wanted another £150 to repair it. A ring at this price should last far longer. Even cheap jewellery is more durable. I would not recommend Ernest Jones — overpriced, poor quality, and no accountability.

From the moment I walked in, I was made to feel genuinely welcome — everyone was friendly, patient, and couldn’t do enough to help. I needed links adding to my watch, which turned out not to be straightforward at all, but they worked with me until we got it sorted perfectly. Nothing felt like too much trouble. A fantastic local shop with truly great employees. I’ll definitely be back and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.
