Quite a good sized store - men’s section is decent. Bad customer experience today, however - had a couple of items to buy, wanted to try them on. No one at the changing room entrance, so politely waited. After a few minutes a tiny woman appeared, didn’t greet me or apologise for the wait. Even though it was clear that I had just 2 items - one in each hand - and I said ‘just two please’ she proceeded to grab both from my hands (presumably to check I hadn’t tried to stuff an extra hoody or an armchair from their home section inside it). Once satisfied, handed me an item number card, didn’t say a word. Appreciate theft happens, but I’m just an ordinary bloke trying to buy a t-shirt and pair of trousers so don’t appreciate to being made to feel as if I’m a shoplifter. Needless to say, it left a bad taste in my mouth and I didn’t buy anything in the end. Customer service could be better around in here - most staff appear to be mute and pretty joyless.

I went here I think it was weds the staff are always lovely to talk too including I think it was the lady manager who petted my dog archie! They are always very helpful and polite. The store is always very tidy and you can tell they are proud of the standards they keep their in store. The dog toy section upstairs via the lift is absolutely fantastic so much variety from toys, beds, food it's hard to decide what to spoil your pet with!! One thing that stands out is with the toys for dogs my staffie normally if I get a toy from pets at home or somewhere else they last about 10mins staffie owners will know what I mean lol!! But the toys here last my boy 2-3 days and they have some really good prices on them. I now ALWAYS go to T K MAXX for my dogs toys. They also have cat toys, dog and cat bowls as well as food for both, beds etc etc. The clothes are very good too you can get some great bargains!! I want to say to the bosses of head office of T K MAXX please pass on my sincere gratitude to your staff and too the lady manager thankyou from archie for the attention lol xx see you soon in the near future and keep up the great work from a delighted customer 😊
