  Not great. The manager of the Rolex concession was brusque and quite curt. The younger sales person very helpful. Sadly a pattern I’ve noticed in Rolex ADs over the years as demand and supply dynamics are such that service is no longer required.

  We had a fantastic experience at Bruford when choosing our wedding rings. From the moment we walked in, we were made to feel welcome and completely at ease. We weren’t sure what we wanted, but the team took the time to understand what we liked, talked us through the options and let us try lots of different rings until we found the perfect ones. Everyone was incredibly knowledgeable and professional, while also being friendly, warm and genuinely interested in helping us. The advice was thoughtful and completely personalised, and we never felt rushed or pressured. We also found the prices very reasonable for the quality and service we received. We’re so happy with our rings and would highly recommend Bruford. ❤️

  This has been the worst customer service experience I have ever had. I bought a beautiful vintage sapphire ring from this jeweller after being assured it could be resized professionally. Instead, what should have been a simple resize turned into a month-long nightmare. The ring was damaged during the first resize and was returned to me wonky, scratched and out of shape. I trusted them to put it right and they sent it back for a second attempt. It was still out of shape. Only after two failed attempts did they finally send it to the original manufacturer, who ultimately said the ring could not safely be worked on any further without requiring a new shank. (This is what they told me he said). The ring I received back is still out of round and the shank is thinner than when I bought it and it is also now missing all the hallmarks. I have photographs showing the ring was immaculate before their workshop touched it, so being repeatedly told that it was a second-hand ring completely missed the point. Yes, it was a vintage ring, but I bought it from them in excellent condition and trusted their assurance that they could resize it properly. The most disappointing part was how I was treated afterwards. Wendy, who dealt with the after-sales side, repeatedly insisted they could not pay to have the ring redone elsewhere and kept referring to it as a second-hand purchase, despite the fact that the damage happened after their resizing work. It felt dismissive rather than supportive. The only positive thing I can say is that one member of the sales team was genuinely kind and tried to help throughout. Unfortunately, everyone else I dealt with came across as dismissive, and by the end I had completely lost confidence in the business. I had planned to buy a watch and a pair of earrings from them after this which I had already discussed with a member of the sales team, but after the way this was handled, I will not spend another penny here and cannot recommend trusting them with an important piece of jewellery.
