- CCCJun 19, 20261.0My partner and I took two watches into the store, a Cartier and my mother's boxed Rolex. We were looking to get a rough valuation, and potentially sell one to fund the repair of the other. The young blonde lady looked at us as though we had just robbed a bank because we do not dress in designer clothes or look as though we have money. Needless to say the young lady whispered to her colleague that we were " villains" . The young salesman then told me that both watches were not worthy of repair and that "Watches of Switzerland" could not help with sending the Rolex to get it serviced. These watches have both been serviced before and never flagged as stolen because they are NOT STOLEN! Just because a person does not have EVERY piece of paperwork as these watches were gifts, it does not mean they are hot. I do not appreciate the way we were treated. Not we will EVER return to purchase from this shop. I have since been warned by a watch dealer, who is selling my Cartier that they do this all the time. I do not recommend this shop. There's a very old saying" Never judge a book by it's cover"! As it happens my partner is a multi millionaire who chooses to dress like a scruffy youth. Not only have you lost my custom, you also lost his, as he was thinking of replacing my Cartier with a new one. I am now the proud owner of a Cartier ballon. These judgemental losers just lost out.
