  Went in today and bought myself a Tudor black bay 58 and had a great experience with William, a real down to earth guy and glad I got to deal with him

  After buying a rolex at the old store in Chelmsford we went back to get the Tudor watch that we had ordered previously.We waited 2 weeks for the watch to come in after paying a 10% deposit.when it arrived we asked to have the watch on 0%finance.The finance was difficult has it got referred so we couldn't take home the watch that day.Once approved at home the watch went through as an online delivery which we didnt ask for we expected to go back to store to pick up.The delivery was then due on a day we were not available so we arranged for the next day.Dpd are the courier of choice for a luxury watch.Surprisingly the watch which should have been delivered at 2pm didnt arrive.We received a text at 9:30pm to say we sorry we missed you as this was a Friday the watch wouldn't now be coming until following Monday.We called goldsmiths on the Saturday to say we not sure we completely trust the authenticity of watch since it's been in a dpd van for 3 days and could be damaged they advised they will arrange a refund. We went to store to speak to a manager to say we were disappointed with the sales process they advised they will get watch sent back to the store so they can authenticate and we can pick up from store.We agreed. No phone calls no emails for a week.We eventually went to the store and the lady Diana we spoke to was not helpful and passed us to James Although james was polite he explained everything that had happened was not how it should have been and if we want a refund we would have to wait for the online team to send it.If we want to take the watch today they have one in store but would need to complete another finance agreement.(makes you wonder if they get commission from the finance team). We felt like we were the problem, no sorry, we were being difficult. We cancelled the watch and are still waiting for a refund. We went to frazer Hart around the corner and bought the watch it was more expensive but the customer service we received was excellent.It was an enjoyable process. For the experience we received buying a luxury watch which was a special item for us Goldsmiths ruined the experience and we would never look to use them again or recommend them.

  I visited Goldsmiths in Chelmsford to collect my new watch and the whole experience was fantastic. I met Gurdeep, who was engaging knowledgeable and incredibly helpful throughout my purchase. I’m looking forward to my next visit. Thanks!
