  Was pleasantly greeted by the staff man called odain..he was handing out baskets to customers and his gentle presence really made me smile and have a pleasant shopping experience 😀 thankyou been shopping there for years too . Bless

  I visited TK Maxx Loughton on Monday, 6 July, at around 7:20 pm to return several items. When I reached the till, Chantelle told me that the returns system closed at 7:30 pm, even though the store itself closes at 8:00 pm. I explained that I had travelled from the Chingford area, that I was with my 15-month-old baby, and that it was difficult for me to make another journey. She suggested I go to the Enfield store instead. I explained that I specifically use the Loughton store because it is only about 9 minutes from my home via the M11, whereas travelling to Enfield in heavy traffic would take much longer. She then told me to come back on Tuesday, 7 July, at around 5:00 pm and specifically asked me to look for her because she would be happy to help me complete the return. When I returned the next day, I discovered that Chantelle was not even working. This was extremely disappointing, especially as she would have known her work schedule in advance. I made a second unnecessary journey with a young child based on information she gave me. Fortunately, Ryan stepped in and provided excellent customer service. He was polite, professional, patient and completed my return without any issues. He is a real credit to the TK Maxx team. I also spoke with the store manager, Ali, who listened to my concerns and apologised for the experience. While I appreciate his professionalism, it does not change the inconvenience caused by the misleading information I received. Customer service is about honesty, professionalism and respecting customers’ time. If Chantelle was unable or unwilling to help, she should have been honest rather than asking me to return specifically to see her when she knew she would not be there. Ryan: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (10/10) – Outstanding customer service. Chantelle: ☆☆☆☆☆ (0/5) – Very disappointing experience. I hope TK Maxx addresses situations like this, because one employee can negatively affect customers’ perception of an otherwise good store.

  Love that Tkmax! Its always something nice there, I always find a treasure unlike the one in Waltham Abbey. Staff is always polite, professional- its a pleasure to shop there. Highly recommend.
