  I am giving this review 5 stars not because of I like my stuff , but because of the service I received. After paying for next day delivery to store and not receiving 'ready for collection' email for two days ,I drove up to store. When I gave my order no. to assistant to check the computer said it wasn't there. The shop was busy with only two ladies, one Katie was sorting self serve tills (dont get me started on them) and the other Elaine was helping another customer. The assistant called Elaine offered to check all the parcels behind the tills by hand and eventually found my parcel. I would like to thank both Katie and Elaine for their excellent customer service. They were calm and professional in at the time a hectic busy shop. They are a credit to Matalan. Thanks again !

  Great place, especially when what I wanted was right at the front of the store 🤣. In all seriousness though, the staff were superb with me. Spoke to one member of staff who directed me to the England tops (which was literally in front of me ha ha, what can I say, I'm a man!). Then the young lady on the till was just as helpful. Well done Matalan.

  So many empty spaces used to have a great home section but now it's nearly none existent

  Good selection of clothes. The self checkouts are rubbish, they are slow and they want your email address. Who has time for that at a checkout?
