- GOGerry OrmeSep 26, 20235.0I had been quoted various prices to have my 1974 Omega Speedmaster 'Moonwatch' serviced and overhauled. Thinking (wrongly!) that these quotes would be cheaper than Omega agents, I asked Ernest Jones to give me a price. Incredibly, the quote was less than elsewhere and, within reason, at a fixed price which included the replacement of worn parts. I had one call from E.J. letting me know that my watch was on its way to Switzerland where Omega had original parts. Yes, it was with Omega for 9 months but I've owned it from new and this is not an everyday wristwatch. It came back with a small bag of replaced parts and looked like new. Coincidentally, it was Vicki who took charge of my watch and Vicki who handed it back to me. She clearly knew her watches and I'd unhesitatingly suggest you drop in and talk to her or her colleagues if you want proper repairs carried out at an honest price.

Neither stopped their conversation or approached us. We looped round past them and we're never acknowledged. I'm not spending £4-8k on a watch from a dealership who cannot provide basic manners and courtesy. I'd begrudge letting these 'salespersons' getting a commission, so just go online.
