  I feel genuinely disappointed to be leaving a one-star review, particularly as we received five-star service from Doireann when we purchased my engagement ring last year. We called into the Liverpool store on Saturday with the intention of choosing our wedding rings. We were told we could have a look upstairs, and after finding a few styles we liked, we approached the lady sitting at the laptop. She told us there were no appointments available that day. I explained that we didn’t live locally, but unfortunately we were given no further assistance and were essentially told that she couldn’t help us. I completely understand that appointments may be the standard process, but what was disappointing was the complete lack of assistance, advice or any attempt to offer an alternative arrangement. We would have been happy to book an appointment for another day or discuss other options, but nothing was offered. What made the experience even more frustrating was that the shop was almost empty at the time, aside from the premium watch area, and the assistant did not appear to be dealing with any other customers. Thankfully, we received the exact opposite experience at Rox, just around the corner. The team were incredibly welcoming, knowledgeable and attentive, and made us feel genuinely valued. As a result, we have subsequently chosen to spend our money with them. It’s such a shame to have experienced such a stark contrast in service, particularly when our previous experience with you had been so positive. I really hope this feedback is taken on board, as we had expected the same level of care and service when choosing such an important purchase for our wedding.

  Just collected my watch and the staff were very pleasant on arrival and were very professional with their approach to the product that had been sent away for repair and returned.

  I recently purchased a Cartier watch and wanted to say how exceptional the service was from Duncan. From our first telephone conversation through to me collecting my watch he made the whole experience feel special. Duncan was knowledgeable, professional, and incredibly patient, taking the time to answer all of my questions without ever making me feel pressured. His genuine enthusiasm and attention to detail made choosing such an important purchase an enjoyable and memorable experience. The level of customer service was outstanding from start to finish, and it’s clear that Duncan takes great pride in looking after his customers. If you’re considering purchasing a luxury watch or jewellery, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend asking for Duncan. Thank you for making what was a significant purchase such a fantastic experience.
