  I have been looking for a diamond ring for a long time. As we were passing I saw it in the window and went straight in. A very warm welcome from Sally who looked after us and guided us through the purchase. She was delightful and incredibly knowledgeable! Loved chatting with her and deciding on which ring(s) were right for me. I decided on a beautiful oval diamond and also purchased a diamond wedding band to match! Sally was precise about the time I would wait for my rings. On collection I was greeted by Helen-what a fabulous bundle of joy she was! She made us coffee, chatted brightly and made the hand over experience magical. I adore my rings, they are beautiful 🤩 I would without a doubt recommend this jewellers. I won’t go anywhere else now. The staff are the best!

  I’ve been a customer of Mappin & Webb Cambridge for many years, and this was one of the best experiences I’ve had. Oliver was fantastic from the outset—professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely committed to providing outstanding customer service. He made the whole process enjoyable and ensured everything exceeded my expectations. Although Mark became my main point of contact, he immediately made me feel welcome and took the time to discuss my collecting interests and future aspirations. His enthusiasm, expertise, and personal approach gave me every confidence that I’ll continue to be well looked after. It was also lovely to see Sally, who made the effort to come over and say hello. It’s those small personal touches that make the Cambridge boutique stand out. Thank you to Oliver, Mark, Sally, and the entire Cambridge team for an exceptional experience.   My first (new) Rolex purchase at Mappin & Webb, Cambridge: I’m a watch enthusiast with a number of watches (too many probably…). I have never bought a new Rolex. I had been put off a little by the rumours and chitchat online suggesting that they were selective, snobby etc and that there was some sort of silly game that you had to play. But I have always wanted an Explorer. I love the simple but elegant design, the ruggedness, the engineering, the history and the subtlety (nobody but a real enthusiast will spot an Explorer). With a Bloody Mary on board to calm my nerves I went in for an appointment with Mark. He was knowledgable, friendly, welcoming and explained the whole process clearly and simply. They have a limited number of Rolexes sent to them. Demand is higher than supply. You put your name down on a list and are given a time estimate (12 months for my watch). When your name is up you get a call and the option to buy. Simple. I suspect they are on the lookout for time wasters and people who just want to flip the watch once they get it. But that is fair enough, isn’t it? They want to sell to genuine people who love their watches. Morgan cars do the same thing for the same reason. Perhaps he could tell that I was a genuine enthusiast. Perhaps he believed me that I want to wear the heck out this watch and give it to one of my children. Perhaps he believed me that I want to leave a nice watch to each of the four of them (sentimental, I know, but a fun family tradition). Then only three months later I got the call. Neil was also knowledgeable and friendly - and the watch is fantastic. So, all in all, a simple, helpful, friendly process. I cannot recommend them enough. Just three more children to cater for…
