  Each staff member I spoke to was unbelievably helpful. Grabbing sizes in clothes, accessories to help me choose an outfit and colour matching on make up. Victor working in the women’s leisurewear was particularly helpful not just for me but for lots of customers. Running around to make sure everyone was helped - give him a christmas bonus!

  if i could give a 0 i would. :( brought a jelly cat for £90 and found out when i got home it had a hole in it. store is too far to return and nothing was done to help this a part from a £10 voucher which is pointless as i have to spend more money to get the offer and whats £10 in selfridges. then i got ignored over email. do better

  ⭐ 1 STAR – EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCE WITH SELFRIDGES I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Selfridges and their customer service. I placed an order when the item was available, with an estimated delivery date of 21 September. The order was not delivered, and I had to contact Customer Care several times to find out what was happening. The most frustrating part has been the completely inconsistent information I have received. Different members of the Selfridges team have given me different answers, leaving me with no clear understanding of where my order actually is. Yesterday, Jamieleigh emailed me and confirmed that my order would be dispatched this week. I therefore expected the order to finally be sent. However, I have now discovered that my order has apparently been returned — DESPITE THE FACT THAT I NEVER REQUESTED A RETURN OR CANCELLATION. To make matters even worse, the item is now showing as NO LONGER AVAILABLE. I ordered and paid for this item when it was available. I did not cancel the order, I did not request a return, and I still want the item I originally purchased. I have screenshots and email correspondence proving the information I was given, including the confirmation from Jamieleigh that my order would be dispatched this week. I am keeping and sharing this evidence because the information provided by Customer Care has been completely inconsistent. I understand that delivery problems can happen, especially with international orders. What I cannot accept is having my order apparently returned without my request and then being told, directly or indirectly, that the item is now unavailable. I want to be very clear: I DID NOT REQUEST THE RETURN. I DID NOT CANCEL THE ORDER. I STILL WANT MY ORIGINAL ORDER. I expect Selfridges to take responsibility for what happened and investigate this properly. I placed my order when the item was available, and I expect the company to make every reasonable effort to fulfil that original order rather than simply leaving me without the item. This has been an extremely frustrating experience, particularly because I was specifically told yesterday that the order would be dispatched this week. For a company with the reputation of Selfridges, I expected much better communication and customer service. I am still waiting for my order and a proper explanation. I hope someone from Selfridges will finally take ownership of this situation and resolve it properly.

  I had such a lovely experience at the Dior makeup stand in Selfridges, all thanks to Keah! She was honestly so kind, friendly and welcoming, and her customer service was amazing. She was so helpful without ever being pushy, and genuinely made me feel comfortable and looked after. Keah went above and beyond to help me and had such a lovely energy. It’s not often you come across someone who can make a simple shopping experience feel so special, but she really did. She honestly made my day! Dior are lucky to have someone like her representing the brand. 💕

  Selfridges is ostensibly a department store but rather than being a single entity it is an umbrella covering numerous high end franchises. The store is huge and occupies a number of floors. These are accessed by escalators which afford an excellent view of the counters and sub sections. The staff members we encountered were helpful and we felt that the service was excellent. Although the store directories near the escalators were clear the floors were so extensive that it was necessary to ask for directions. The photograph is of Moor Street Station. For those travelling by rail this is a very convenient way of reaching Selfridges
