Michael Clifton was the rudest co-manager I have interacted with in some time. He told me he was the General Manager originally...but that looks like it was a boast/lie.
I bought a St Croix rod from this store, and it broke.
I simply came back and asked the african american guy at the fishing department what the process was to return a St Croix rod.
He proceeded to tell me how he returned a G loomis rod by sawing it in pieces to get around the $600 shipping fee because it was such a long box? Explain that to me.
He recommended I do the same for my St Croix brand rod.
His advice did not make sense to me, so I questioned the employee as to the validity of his advice, since G Loomis and St Croix rods could have different warrantee/return policies.
He proceeded to curse at me and accused me of calling him a liar.
I asked for a manager, and the employee stormed off, while threatening to punch me in the face, which a female employee and multiple service member customers witnessed.
He was completely unhinged, and lacked any customer service awareness.
When the store's GM (co-manager), Michael Clifton showed up, the customer service quality dropped even further.
Michael (with a confrontational attitude and fas) immediately told me to contact St Croix, that BPS had no responsibility, and because his millenial employee had to find a "safe space" after our interaction, it was time for me to go.
He proceeded to escort me out of "his" store without being able to purchase any of my fishing gear.
I will be shopping at Dick's from now on.

Wie waren auf der Suche nach dem grössten Outdoor Store der Welt und wir haben den grössten Outdoor Store der Welt gefunden. Unglaublich wie gross dieser Markt ist und was sie alles im Angebot haben. Hier findet echt jeder Outdoor Fan etwas. Wir haben schlussendlich nur ein paar Tshirts und Basecaps gekauft. Aber wir kommen bestimmt noch mal wieder in diese Outdoor Kette

Most of the service is great in all the departments. Unless you are trying to purchase a firearm; then it is sub par at best. I asked about a firearm that was listed online as in stock and where I could find it to a group of employees. I was told "You have eyes don't ya?" And then they ignored me. I also have feet so I went down the street to psa.
