    Please do your research before booking a photo session here. It’s been a while since I’ve taken photos at a photo studio. I booked a session expecting to receive physical photos, which I believe is a reasonable assumption for a portrait studio. After the session, I was told to pick my favorite photos. I was immediately shown package options but it was NOT explicitly stated that the package I was agreeing to was digital-only or that physical prints would require an additional purchase through a third-party site. Had it been explained upfront that prints were not included and would cost extra, I would have chosen a different package or reconsidered altogether. My suggestion to JCPenney Portraits is simple: explicitly state, clearly and verbally, what each package includes and does not include before customers agree to purchase, especially when prints are excluded; regardless of how busy it is. Transparency would prevent confusion and customer dissatisfaction. The photographer was polite, but the pricing and package structure were not explained in a way that a reasonable customer could fully understand at the time of purchase.

    Awhile back I purchased a pretty set of fine jewelry gold earrings and the necklace to match. Spent aprox. 500 here against my better judgement because the pieces caught my attention. Well, the earring post broke off a few weeks later. The quality shoudnt be this bad. Very disappointed.
