  Danielle & Maryanne were the best today! I bought a 15 foot trampoline for my daughter's 8th birthday and they met me at the back of the store after I paid for it to help me break it down and get it to fit in my 2018 Chevy Malibu 😂😅 Thank you guys again! 🙏🏻🩷

  I had a very disappointing experience at the Academy Sports in Hiram. I came in expecting a straightforward purchase, but it quickly turned into a frustrating and uncomfortable situation. There was a clear pricing discrepancy between what was shown online and what was offered in-store (about a $30 difference). When I politely asked about honoring the price, the response I received was anything but customer-focused. Must purchase online and it would take 30+ mins for them to process it and no one in store that could do it at that time and I would need to return tomorrow was the response we received. The manager, Lucas, was dismissive and rude, showing no willingness to help or even properly explain the situation. Just claimed that it shows online even though on my phone it clearly did not. To make matters worse, the sales associate escalated things unnecessarily and became confrontational over what should have been a simple conversation. I understand policies may vary, but the way this was handled was completely unprofessional. Customer service should never make someone feel disrespected or unwelcome. Unfortunately, this experience has made me reconsider shopping here in the future. I left the $1000+ items I had in my hands sitting on the register. They lost a purchase for the night and will never return to that location.

  Absolutely terrible location, avoid this place at all costs. Their website has sale on kayaks but doesn't state anywhere in the page the sale is online only. Get to the store they won't honor the price due to it being "online only", stating i had to click back to the main page to see the "online only" portion. They were unwilling to process the online order because it was too close to their closing time. Also unwilling to do anything to price match while we were. We had over $1000 in purchase we walked out and left. Really smart move Academy! I'll take all my purchases elsewhere because clearly you don't care at all about servicing your customers.

  I came in store to buy my daughter a bike for her bday and the manager I asked if they can price match or give the discount I see online and they said no but you can do a pick up online to get the discount which takes an hr. I’m disappointed in the level of customer service here
