Extremely disappointed with my experience at the Boss Dawsonville location. I’ve shopped here regularly, and once before I returned a product without any issue. Today, after buying the same product and attempting to return it because the size didn’t work, I was told returns are not allowed and that my previous return “should not have happened.”
The tone and attitude of the staff were unnecessarily rude. I value good service, and this was far from it.

The most irrational, inhumane, and rude customer service I’ve ever experienced
This Hugo Boss store at North Georgia Premium Outlets has absolutely the worst-managed and most irrational entry system I’ve ever encountered — made even worse by the staff’s shockingly rude and dismissive behavior, including literally driving customers away.
1. The entry rule is completely irrational and inhumane
The staff enforced a rule that:
“If one person exits, one person enters. If two exit, two may enter.”
On paper, this sounds simple.
In reality, it is a ridiculous, mechanical, and thoughtless system, especially for families.
Here’s what happened:
• The person ahead of us was alone.
• We are a family of two.
• Because only one person exited at a time, the staff refused to let us enter together.
• Their “rule” meant we had to either split up or wait forever.
2. We were repeatedly skipped by people behind us
Instead of exercising basic judgment, the staff kept doing this:
• One person exits → they pull a one-person shopper from behind us
• Another person exits → they pull another single shopper behind us
• This repeated again and again
We were next in line — yet we were constantly skipped because the staff refused to show any flexibility or awareness.
This was unfair, unreasonable, and humiliating.
3. The staff were extremely rude — even driving customers away
What made everything worse was the staff’s attitude. They were:
• Rude
• Hostile
• Impatient
• Speaking to people as if customers were an inconvenience
• Using hand gestures to push customers away from the entrance
At one point, their tone and behavior felt like they were intentionally driving people away.
This is absolutely unacceptable for any store — let alone a premium brand.
4. As loyal Hugo Boss customers, our trust in this brand is now shattered
We have been loyal Hugo Boss customers for years, and we have always appreciated the brand’s quality and professionalism.
But after this experience, our perception of Hugo Boss as a brand has been completely destroyed.
If this is the type of staff representing Hugo Boss, it raises serious questions:
• Is this the result of Hugo Boss’s employee training?
• Does the brand approve of splitting families apart?
• Does Hugo Boss tolerate hostility toward customers?
• Is mechanical rule-following more important than basic humanity?
This experience has caused us to lose confidence in the brand entirely.
5. Final thoughts
This was one of the most unpleasant and disrespectful retail experiences we’ve ever had. No brand — especially not one that claims to be premium — should allow:
• Employees with no judgment
• Inhumane and mechanical rules
• Repeated skipping of customers
• Hostile communication
• Staff who behave as if their job is to chase customers away
Unless major changes are made, we cannot recommend this store or this brand to anyone.

The workers were super sweet, friendly, and incredibly helpful. They made sure we had the best shopping experience and even helped us find the best prices. Definitely one of the best stores to visit at the outlet highly recommend!

I recently visited the store on a bustling Saturday and had the pleasure of being assisted by Regina, Marcus, and Tracey. Despite seeing some recent negative reviews, my experience was quite the opposite—truly commendable!
During my time at the store, I observed these individuals in action. Constantly engaging with customer inquiries and tirelessly rearranging shirts back to their original state amidst the crowded environment, they showcased remarkable dedication. Their smiles never waned, even as they managed multiple tasks simultaneously.
Given the challenging demands of doing more with fewer resources, Regina, Marcus, and Tracey demonstrated exemplary commitment and efficiency. I sincerely hope their management recognizes the tremendous effort they put in and rewards them accordingly.
