He loves everyone he meets and has never harmed anyone especially while he is WORKING. But today the woman in this store completely judged us because he is a big dog he is a cane corso and I am a white woman. They met us at the door and did not even give us a chance. I showed her his badge and her response was “is that a cane corso” yes ma’am he is, her response was “I don’t know if they will allow that” she was implying that because he is a corso and that there were people in the store who were afraid of dogs. He is a working dog he is not there to socialize he is doing a service so he is completely focused on me and nobody else but at that point we are very confused and upset and decided we would go somewhere else. I would just like to reiterate that telling my service dog he is not allowed is the same as telling someone of color they are not allowed because they are a person of color. He is here to do a job and it is completely against the law what they did.
