  My mother and father were in the Centerville, GA store on Friday evening, March 27, 2026. There was one long line to pay at a register-my parents stood in the line. A shift manager came and took my parents to another area of the store and left them there with no one present. She pointed them to another register...they went and waited, and no one came to the register to help them check out. My parents went to the shift manager and told her this, and she said "do you think I would have sent you somewhere where no one is working?" She claimed she told them to go to the makeup counter, but she did not. She left them in the middle of the store and pointed to area where no one was. She DID NOT tell them to go to the makeup counter. So while they were walking back to stand in the long line again where they were originally, they saw a lady in jewelry checking people out at her register. So my parents stood in that line to pay. When it was time for them to pay, out of nowhere, the lady in jewelry just said to my mother "you can go, and get in line like everyone else." When my mother said she already stood in line, she said "well I am not waiting on you." The shift manager that originally took them out of the first line was standing there and heard all of this as well. My mother asked to speak to the store manager-the shift manager stated his name is Frank and that he would be in Monday. My mother is trying to call today (Monday, March 30, 2026), and no one is answering any phone line in the store. And my parents still bought was they went for-receipt time-stamp is 5:06pm on Friday, March 27, 2026 to be specific.

  Salon horrible. You have to pay for every individual service. I wanted a shampoo, deep condition and an express hair cut. Was told that this service did not come with a blow dry. What? So I added what I thought was a blow dry, turned out to be a blow out which is the "stylist" used a motel room like hair dryer (with no attachments) to blow hot air on my head using only a detangling comb. She stated to get a proper blow dry would require additional costs. It's impossible to get a proper hair cut with the way my natural hair was dried. She said if I had paid for a silk press, then she could dried my hair straight. As you can guess, my hair cut was uneven. I could have done the same job in my bathroom with kitchen scissors.

  I raised three children on JC Penny's clothes/Christmas, the oldest is now 44, the middle is 36, the baby is 31. Every year starting around October, they would began their circling, checking and making lists of what they wanted Santa to bring. I didn't get to treat my grandson to JC Penny but for a very short time before gangs in Macon, Georgia had killed our Macon Mall and it wasn't a safe place to be. My mom was a shopping JC Penny Queen who encouraged the grands to get the catalog and circle or check off what they wanted for Christmas. It was a treat for my mom and for me to place orders for household items and go to the store's counter for pickup. I miss Penny's, it was the store for quality and reasonable prices. I don't shop there enough now to know what's going on with quality and price.
