  JCPenney no longer allows you to check out at any register in the store. Only one register in the store The other register tell you that you have to buy jewelry or lotions and other things to check out at their registers. Inconvenience because their lines are empty but the only register I can check out at is a nice line to wait in having to walk to the back of the store. I almost just put the 100 dollars worth of items on a shelf and walked out. But I walked to the back of the store and waited for ten minutes to check out. Then walked back towards the mall where most of the check out beauty, fragrance and lotion associates were standing by the registers, just chatting with each other no lines still. Just enjoying a fellow coworker conversation standing around the registers. Would love to have had that 10 minutes plus the walk back-and-forth in my schedule. If they had just checked me out or the ladies in any of those departments to check me out, I would’ve been done in less than a minute and then on my way out to the mall and next locations of shopping I needed to do for the day. I mean you’re buying products from this store. Why in the world would they make it challenging to check out? I don’t have this issue with Macy’s and other department stores. Just sad how things continue to be worse with some businesses and we are far from the COVID days. Foolish policies that are inconsiderate of customers. I think we are done shopping here for any future purchases. I can see JCPenney moving soon in the direction of closing down stores if they are this desperate to put policies in like this.

  Very organized and clean however most of the fitting rooms were closed and the cashier was too pushy on wanting me to open up a JCPenney credit card.

  They have really nice clothes and shoes I found bogo shirts and shoes. I usually have a hard time finding stuff I like but not today.

  Terrible staff. Zero chance of checking out, shop and spend your time ...but, remember, set it all down at the end because no one will check you out. Way to go JC Penny! Next company to fail!

  Kinda underwhelming... Kinda boring ..kinda dry kinda bland -white bread, uncooked rice, eggs with no salt. But not bad. Its good for the gut to have bland foods sometimes. And that's why this JC penny is good for you sometimes. No thrills no decoration even! It's Christmas not on wreath or tree... Clean spacious but I would skip and go to Macy's for similar priced items or luxury items that are in the last act section if your on a budget. Overall this wasn't a bad department store but it was very simple and I felt everything they offered is similarly priced in other department stores.
