I'm a little curvy and have really bad anxiety, so I typically avoid going into retail stores, especially those on the trendier end. The ladies working in the store this evening (Friday, April 5, 2019) should be appreciated. I cannot remember the name of the woman who helped me (but my goodness, I wish I could so I could brag on her), but the other woman at the counter was Eva. I have never felt so at ease in a store. The first lady approached me to ask if she could get a room set up for me. I'm so used to having to hunt down a sales associate to try on clothes, but it was super easy with her help. She also helped me find my size in the pair of SUPER cute pants (which, by the way, I ended up buying) because they weren't on the rack. She made really awesome suggestions for shirts to go with the pants liked, so I ended buying one of the suggested shirts too (probably wouldn't have if I didn't feel so comfortable). When I was checking out, Eva got me signed up for the email list (and got me $25 off because of my birthday!!!) and informed me of a 20% off $100 or more promotion! So I walked out not only feeling good, but also getting a great deal! Just really want to say how impressed I was with the professionalism of this store. I was lucky enough to discover their products through StitchFix. Came because I liked the mannequins' outfits in the window, will return because of the fantastic service. The clothes are obviously "made well." And they do a fantastic job of hiring. Also, love the inclusivity of Madewell in general. They have up to size 24! Such a beautiful thing. Beautiful store. Beautiful clothes. Beautiful people. Thanks Madewell!
