Founded in Vancouver BC in 1998, the first lululemon shared its retail space with a yoga studio. We've been growing ever since, and our technical yoga and run clothes are now available in countries all over the world. We want to elevate the world from mediocrity to greatness. Our Mission Statement is to create components for people to live longer, healthier, fun lives. We make technical athletic apparel for yoga, dancing, and most other sweaty pursuits.

I should mention, it was not busy at all. The only reason I gave them 2 stars is because when I tried on something the man running the dressing room gave my kid a sticker and kept an eye on him for the 10 mins we were there he was the only one that attempted to assist me while the rest of the crew up front grouped and gossiped. As a sweat collective member I would never come back to this location or recommend my friends or family to visit. Definitely a vast difference from any of the stores I’ve been into.

My sister-in-law wanted the Everywhere Belt Bag, and I even decided to purchase the glitter one. However, when it was time to check out, the experience became disappointing. My husband and I stood at the register for about five minutes with no acknowledgment at all. There were no other customers in line. When my husband stepped forward, two employees walked away without saying a word—not even “we’ll be right with you.” I eventually had to ask if the register was closed before anyone finally checked us out. In this economy, when customers are choosing to spend their hard-earned money, the level of customer service should reflect appreciation and attentiveness. This experience made us feel ignored and undervalued. I hope corporate addresses this and reinforces the importance of customer service, because experiences like this truly matter.
