  Very poor customer service. I went today around 5 PM to exchange my glasses under a protection plan that was about to expire, so I felt pressured to complete the exchange even though I was unhappy with the service. Marc was kind and helpful, but then another employee, a women, took over and showed no customer service skills at all. She seemed only interested in completing the sale and moving on, never took the time to explain anything, and didn’t even ask if I wanted the glasses adjusted. She handed me the glasses without proper packaging or the original cleaning cloth, which is unacceptable for luxury eyewear. When I asked about it, she rudely said these were the last pairs and therefore came without packaging or certificates. Very disappointing experience.

  This is by far the worst location I have ever been too. I have made several purchases at different sunglass huts and the Avalon has the WORST customer service. Monica is very very rude and unprofessional.I called into the store to receive customer service and was told that they are “very busy” and there are customers in the store. As if I am not deserving to receive service because I am not present in the store. I mentioned coming into the store and perhaps carrying on since I could not receive an answer over the phone and was told “ That’s not going to bother me.” Just absolutely insolent and deplorable behavior. This is simply just not appropriate for someone whose entire role is to service customers. I also spoke with Tracy going on 3 weeks ago to find a solution and have not received a single phone call back since. All I simply wanted was to exchange for the appropriate sizing and this is becoming a month long strenuous process. I was fed incorrect information on multiple occasions and have not received any further help. I have reported this store, and will proceed to take larger action over the coming days for this experience. If you are expecting good customer service and a supportive team I highly suggest going anywhere else but here. If I could give this store 0 out of 5 stars I would. I’d really love to have a general manager or a corporate employee to reach out, because at this point my frustration is no longer about the product it’s the service.

  I recently went to the Sunglass Hut at Avalon and needed help finding a pair of glasses very similar to a pair I loved but wanted a different brand. I didn't want to be there ages looking through tons of options. Jonathan greeted me immediately, heard my request, and steered me to the exact pair that fit my request. He showed me all lens options, I selected my fave, and checked out. He was knowledgeable, personable, thorough, non-pushy, and very friendly. All retail personnel should be like this!

  Couldn’t process online order returns because manager wasn’t there. Why do they require a manager to process that.
