  Great store and amazing finds! Unfortunately “Mathew” made me feel extremely uncomfortable as if I had stolen something. In fact, I didn’t even notice the price had dropped from the sunglasses when I was going back to return them. What a shame.

  I had an absolutely horrible experience at this American Eagle location that I feel compelled to share. I went in for what should have been a straightforward return with my receipts and items and was well within the store's return policy. As I entered the store I saw the employee at the counter and immediately dreaded going in, since I had dealt with him before. This male manager (white, glasses) was incredibly condescending from the moment I approached the counter. He spoke to me like I was beneath him and seemed annoyed that I was even there. When I explained my return request - which was completely valid according to their posted policy - he was dismissive and rude. What made it worse was his unprofessional response when I became understandably frustrated with his attitude and his constant attempts to make returning as difficult as humanly possible. Instead of trying to resolve the situation or provide proper customer service, he simply refused to help me altogether. He essentially punished me for getting upset about his poor treatment, even though I was 100% eligible for the return and had every right to be in the store as a paying customer. There was another meeker employee there (long black hair girl, petite) who just went along with whatever was going on and refused to intervene and do the right thing, even though I asked her to intervene. This is not how you treat customers, especially when they're following your return policies correctly. The manager's superiority complex and vindictive behavior when challenged is completely unacceptable. Management needs to address this employee's attitude problem immediately. Customer service training is clearly needed. I'll be taking my business elsewhere and recommending others do the same until this location learns how to treat customers with basic respect. Do not come to this store. Go instead to Offline or Aerie at Avalon where they also take American Eagle returns and do it with a smile.

  Worst customer service ever! I went mid day today and the gentleman refused to take my return which was within return limits with tags and receipts. He told me I could call customer service. I did call customer service, and they told me to return to the store for refund. I ended up shipping it back instead because he refused to help. American Eagle in North Point Mall - do not expect good service there!

  I went to the mall to return my online purchases as their clothes is starting to run large.. I received excellent customer support and they were able to take my returns and have the new sizes I need delivered to me. Very friendly and great customer service.

  We had such a wonderful experience at American Eagle Alpharetta thanks to Melanie. She was so kind and patient, helping us find the perfect top and even checking online and in-store for sizes. Her attentive service made our shopping trip a delight!
