Although the return period had only passed by five days, the DSW website clearly states: “Returns made after 60 days with an original sales receipt or shipping invoice will be issued as a merchandise credit regardless of original form of payment. Exchanges made after 60 days will be issued on a merchandise credit for any difference owed.” I wasn’t even trying to return the shoes—just asking for a simple price match. Instead of assisting, the store manager, Devyn, stated that she had the discretion to decide and chose not to help. I was genuinely surprised by her response, and I believe this approach does not align with the level of customer service DSW aims to provide.
