- KDKelly Daniels5 days ago1.0PSA: As a treat to myself, with a gift I received for my graduation, I purchased a cross necklace from JCPenney. It wasn’t in their costume jewelry but in their “find jewelry” selection. Apparently, I should have known better. I wore the necklace a total of 3 times, and the chain broke awake from the clasp. Luckily, I didn’t lose anything (the cross etc) so I’ve been holding onto it to take it back. At the same time, I also purchased a necklace for my son…and surprisingly, his clasp apparently was causing him issues and unfortunately he ended up losing his. I went to JCPenney today with my original receipt and originall box. They wouldn’t do anything for me. No exchange, no return and no offer to fix because I didn’t purchase their protection plan. I was also told it’s the same with their clothing, if it’s not returned in condition they can sell, they won’t return it (imagine if you bought something and the button or zipper broke, nope can’t return it) I know…you get what you pay for…luckily I do LOVE the cross so I will go to a more reputable place now for a necklace…I will likely never shop at JCPenney again though. Had it been a fault of my own, I’d take ownership and suck it up, but it wasn’t…and neither was my sons. . So my service to you today is…don’t shop at JCpenney, or shop at your own risk knowing they don’t take returns ❤️

The person came but helped the customer that was working with the clerk. She got done but instead of assisting me walked off but told me someone is on the way. I waited 10 min and the person showed up but then got with the clerk with the same customer and ignored me. Its been 22 min and im still standing here while typing this.

I walked the entire ground floor twice and no one approached me. I'm 6' 3" so you can't really miss me. Very disappointing. Walked out without finding any help and didn't buy anything I came for. Fail.
