Not enough information during the order process. I assumed that paying an additional $75 for delivery would be faster than picking up my bicycle in the store. There was no indication at checkout that delivery would actually mean a longer wait.
No delivery timeline, no tracking information—nothing. This should be clearly communicated to the customer before payment.
On top of that, I can’t cancel the order. Bass Pro used to be my favorite store, and I was happy to pay more for the unique experience. After this online ordering experience, it has dropped to the lowest level on my list.

Went in and was looking for a few clothes for fishing, and it was not a super busy day it was pretty slow in the afternoon walked in grabbed 3 pieces of clothing walked in dressing room and got inventory checked within like 1 minute or before, I open the door to the worker and she was surprised when she saw me as if she was expecting different, I don't blame her though who ever the manager was or looking at cameras thought they were really doing their job on this one, I was in business casual, dress pants dress shirt, it felt racist honestly but you wont know till you go, wouldn't recommend bass pro is not the only store you can get nice fishing clothing from.

Walked in and someone's pet dog (not a service animal) immediately pooped on the floor. Which should've been a sign. Theyre pushing their sub par in store brand so hard you can't even find the Ariat section to get some men's jeans. So don't bother unless you want to wear knock off carhartt's for the same price or if you wanna overpay and walk to the back for your Carhartt.
The women's room was disgusting on top of everything.
Theyre so busy trying to be a bucee's that they forgot to be a bass pro shop

The week before Christmas I went shopping at bass pro shop in Brandon and was out of my element in the fishing section. Thankfully for me Gary happily and joyfully volunteered to help me find what I was looking for. Now that seems like just part of the job description but Gary answered ALL TYPES of questions for me fishing related and advised me on what I would need for the type of fish I knew my spouse preferred to catch. And he used his life experience on a fishing boat to guide me to what was necessary and what was just overkill. At the end I shook hands with Gary and I hope he sticks around as long as he can so I can return just to see him for any needs in the future. Thank you so much for helping me that day. You are much appreciated and made a lasting impression which I’m sure will never leave me

I've about had it with this location. I know its the Holidays, but these guys honestly just could not care less about customer service. Im having to leave a SECOND review (they got 2 stars on the last one). Stopped into Bass Pro on Christmas Eve. Decided to pick myself up a 4'3" rod for some backpacking trips, and was searching for a reel to couple with it. Chose a Bass Pro reel from the selection and went to stand in line to get service from the counter. At that time, there was only 1 guy ahead of me waiting and one guy working the counter. Cool. I can be patient. But then another guy walks up behind me to stand in line. I see another employee come up and ask him how he can help. No "Who was next?". Just chose the guy that just walked up and went with it. Fine. I let it slide. Then an employee with long hair comes up inside the counter. He looked like he was searching for something, but then he looks up at a guy walking towards the counter and asks, "Something I can help you with today, Sir?"
At this point, clearly Im invisible. I put my intended purchases down for them to put back at their leisure, since clearly they dont want my money today.
I decided to call upon a manager. I get "Joe" which apparently happens to be the fishing department manager. Im thinking, "Perfect. Someone who will care how his employees are handling business." I couldn't be more wrong. I explained to him my issue and was told, "Its a 2 sided story" and "Its basically an honor system up there." This is a MANAGER?! I run my own company and he's lucky he's not my employee because he wouldn't be any longer with such a non-chalant mindset. Its really not difficult to ask "Who is next in line?". It really isn't. Takes less than 2 seconds to ask that question. But I was met with nonsense excuses. Clearly this location is going downhill. Thankfully, this location is not a representative of other locations Ive been to, so Im not going to blame the whole company. But management here is a farce.
