  Management was rude and nobody seems enthusiastic about helping. Store manager speaks very condescending and almost to the point of trying to talk down to people. If you don’t like people asking questions, simply don’t be in retail.

  Visited this location this past weekend . There were multiple sale promo flyers ( buy one get one 70% off ) thru out the store including right above the flip flops I looked at . I asked the associate in the shoe area if these were included in the sale and was told “ yes”. Picked out the flip flops and a second pair and waited in line to check out. They rang up full price at 35$ each. The cashier asked , who I assume was the manager , standing next to her . She said oh those are not on sale . The 70% off is only on sale items . I said ok thanks I am going to pass bc I can get the shoes full price any time online or at my local store. I made the comment the sale flyers are very misleading since it posted right above multiple products ( including the ones I picked out ) and the part about the second item “having to be a sale item” is not super visible. Not to mention the associate in the shoe area told me they WERE part of the promo. She responded very rudely . Made zero effort to try and show any of the correct items to purchase. I have worked retail and I get it is not always fun , but as a store manager responding so unprofessionally is a turn off to shopping the brand in general . Clearly the promo sale was not as transparent as she thought since not only was her associate confused about the correct items , but so was the cashier . I walked two stores down and ended up getting some other shoes with much better customer service.

  I bought my daughter 2 pairs of Vans shoes on August 1, 2025 with a by one get one 50% of promotion. She put it on once and we went from the house to the car and from the car to Publix, she said it was hurting her. In the Publix she was always sitting in the cart. I came back to the store on August 6 to return to shoes, since they were too small. The store associate and store manager said "The shoes were used and they can not return it. I cannot resell these shoes." I got very upset and returned the 50% off pair. I told them I will clean it and bring it back, since they were not really used. The next day I brought the shoes back to the same store, pictures attached, ( I could have gotten to any other store and returned it without problems ), however the store manager at Sawgrass said "I remember you and those shoes are used and you can not return it ". She agreed to exchange the shoes for the larger size, doing first gift card return, and then charge the shoes on the gift card. When I came back home I was really frustrated and upset at the way the whole situation was handled. Now I do not want to see my daughter wearing dose shoes since it is going to be reminding me about the incident at Vans store. I want to return these shoes!!! I understand that Sawgrass mall has a lot of tourists from all over the world and maybe they could be treated this way. However, I live 10 minutes away from the mall and come to the mall on a monthly basis. I think this type of treatment of a customer is not acceptable especially in the area of intense competition from online retailers and outlet stores. I actually waited and wanted to resolve the situation behind the scene, but this is the response I got from the email provided above. Not sure how they address their costumer service? But really sad to see the response like that!!! “We are very sorry to hear your store experience was not as expected. Unfortunately, this situation does not qualify for our review process as it pertains to external factors unrelated to the product's manufacturing or material quality.”
