- MBMichael BrewerJan 10, 20251.0Do not use this company. I paid $40 application fee to get a device installed, when I took my vehicle in, Smart Lock’s system was down. I then had to get another brand installed. Smart Lock told me to submit a dispute. That was 2 months ago. After calls and e-mails going Un-answered, I can literally not get a hold of anyone that does refunds. They will take your money in 5 seconds but when it comes to a refund, they ghost you and no one can help.

How does an Interlock Device work?
When you blow into your Ignition Interlock Device, you're providing a breath test sample in order to start the vehicle. The device then measures your Breath Alcohol Concentration (BrAC), and will either say that you passed, need to retest, or failed. You will be asked to take rolling retests throughout your drive.
