- AAAva1 day ago1.0The whole point of donating to Goodwill is to help people get essentials at prices they can actually afford. When you see a $245 rug at a thrift store, especially one that looks machine-made but is labeled “handmade,” it feels like the mission got lost. The rug didn’t have any certificate nor looked like a handmade rug.
- CCCassieMar 30, 20265.0I witnessed a customer being absolutely ugly to an employee at this Goodwill today. I visit this Goodwill frequently and this employee is always professional and friendly. The verbal attack I witnessed today on this kind human was unacceptable and so sad. The employee remained polite and professional and did everything they could to de-escalate the situation as quickly as possible. I was truly impressed at their composure and grace and wanted to make sure anyone reading reviews knows this store is filled with helpful and pleasant people that want to help their customers find great deals.

Why don’t you listen to your customers and lower prices? You shouldn’t be comparable to Amazon, retail, or the dollar store. Overhead must be very high.

Also, I was charged for 10 items instead of 8. So now I have to be taken back there to get it corrected.
