We would normally have good things to say about the company, and this store. We have visited a couple times and had no issues; however the visit today has left a bad taste in my mouth. We were shopping, and found a Valentine's item that was 30% off. We put it in our cart, and the head fell off. We had asked the supervisor about possibly still purchasing it with a discount. The woman was very snotty and said "nope! We can either damage it out or they can pay full price!". How horrible that a company would rather trash an item rather than sell it for less profit.. we will not be back.

We saved thousands of dollars by DYI curtains at JC Penney. We called the national window treatment companies and we would've had to pay thousands of dollars. JC Penney's had, beautiful fabrics and curyain patterns to choose from. We are so happy with the outcome. Associate "T" was so helpful courteous and professional.

I previously shopped at this JCP store all the time and quit because the return Process was far from efficient, plus some of the sales associates were overly rude. I decided after 2 to 3 years of not doing business at the store. I would try it again in 2025 for Christmas shopping. Unfortunately, the return processes have gotten far worse and the associates have gotten far ruder. I definitely blame management for the lack of proper training. I spent over $1000 and had to return some of the merchandise that did not fit. On several instances, the return process was a mess and took well over 30 minutes each time. During several of the returns, I was told that I had already returned the merchandise, but had not. Most of the associates were quite kind, and I did feel for them trying to navigate through the return system, when it is so VERY inefficient. In any respect, there
really is no need for an associate to yell and/or treat a customer rudely, simply because they are trying to provide information so that a return can be performed. I gave this company chance after chance but sadly, I will take my business elsewhere.
