I recently visited the JCPenney Photo Department for a family photo session, and I was extremely disappointed by the service we received. We had an appointment at 3:45 PM, which was especially important because my older brother, who has autism, becomes very anxious if he has to wait. We arrived on time, only to be told that we’d need to wait because there were two other appointments ahead of us.
I explained that my brother doesn’t handle delays well and that we had specifically booked this time to avoid exactly that situation. A staff member brushed off our concerns and even said, "Well, I can’t do anything to make a baby smile, so until the baby smiles, you’ll just have to wait." This response felt dismissive and showed a lack of understanding for our situation.
In the end, we waited nearly an hour past our scheduled time. By then, my brother was extremely anxious and the entire experience was overshadowed by stress. We were rushed through the photo session, and the final photos reflected that rushed atmosphere. What was supposed to be a special occasion ended up being stressful and disappointing.
I hope that in the future, the staff at JCPenney will be more considerate and better trained to handle different customer needs. I’m disappointed that we paid over $100 for such a poor experience.

Would give lower if I could. I purchased a watch as a wedding day gift for my father here that was dirty and scratched. My fault for not examining it beforehand as I knew what I wanted to purchase so quickly came and left without a worry that day. When I went to return it after purchasing another, the jewelry department manager gave me the typical run down about not being able to accept worn jewelry. Completely understandable, but after continuing to plead with them that this was the condition it was sold in and requesting to speak to a higher manager, she finally came back saying this one time they would accept the return but “they would not have sold it in this condition” and continued to allude to and call me a liar to my face. In the end the return was processed so thankful for that, but horrible experience after what was supposed to be a nice gift on my wedding day.

Dawn from JCPenney Photo provided one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had. I called ahead to let them know we would be about five minutes late, and Dawn assured me it was fine—our session time would simply be shortened. I explained that my daughter is home from military service and we only needed one quick photo to update our family portrait.
When we arrived, Dawn told us we couldn’t be seen unless another customer was late, or we could “wait patiently to the side.” We waited for 30 minutes while watching two other families get checked in and asked about their backgrounds. At that point, I approached Dawn to ask why we hadn’t been checked in or asked any questions. She claimed it was because “you stormed off,” even though I had been standing in the photo area the entire time.
When I requested a store manager, she became visibly irritated. Her attitude was extremely rude, unprofessional, and completely unacceptable—absolutely not someone I would ever want representing my business. Thank you for turning what should have been a special family moment into a frustrating and disappointing experience.

Was referred to Christine at this Salon. Today's appointment was at 3:30 p.m. Upon arriving, I was advised another 5 minutes for my appointment. Great, no problem, 20 minutes later, another client arrives for Christine for a 4:00 appt. I proceeded to advise the girl at the desk, cancel appt. Christine approaches me asking what is going on? I advised her my appointment was set at 3:30 and I'm not waiting any longer. She stated to me well that's not what I was told. I even confirmed my appointment this afternoon at 12:00 for 3:30. I proceeded to call back and leave a message for Dianne, the manager of your Salon, and upon her return phone call to me, she said well I don't know what happened but and I waited and I waited for her to somehow correct this problem or reschedule me, and she was not even offering that. I've been coming to the salon for a few years now and I pretty much know Diane and Christine very well. Now I will be looking for another salon. I do not recommend this Salon they cannot even keep their appointment times straight let alone their salon stylist are no longer on schedule.

We came and had some family photos done here. It was an awesome process thanks to Dawn. She took some really amazing photos of us and had such a happy great attitude! This is a special memory I will carry with me, thanks to her!
