  I shopped the men's department an hour before closing and everything was clean and neat. The fitting room that I used needs to be cleaned thoroughly or repainted. My wife mentioned that the lighting in the women's fitting room kept blinking off and on.

  No wonder this place is goin down the drain. We went in today and it started in the fitting room. I tried some stuff on, kept what I was gonna keep and left what I wasn’t. Went and looked at more stuff, came and tried that on too. The whole time there’s a black lady sitting in a chair at the fitting room. Which I get it. Theft is crazy. But this wine went in my dressing room in between fittings and when I come back she tells me that I need to hang the clothes back up when I’m done. That started it. Because I have never , if anything anytime I do try that at other places , the people are like no girl we got it , don’t worry about it. But not here . Then my nanny goes in to try all the clothes she put in her buggy and they proceeded to tell her shopping carts are not allowed in the fitting room. Like what ? Did you expect my feeble old little nanny to hold everything. It’s a cart. Not a big back pack that you can hide things in. A very viewable cart with holes in it. You can see everything. My nanny is a preachers wife and a sweet little old lady so she doesn’t say anything and just keeps going. Then another lady comes and finds us and goes “come Check out wirh me and I will give you $35 off” like promoting a discount so we did. We go to pay and the cashier goes “I need your information to sign you up for this card so I can give you $35 off” , IT WAS A CREDIT CARD. I tell her no we don’t want a credit card . She kept telling us “yes yes it will save you $35 , it’s not a credit card , it’s for shopping” and said mam look at the pamphlet it literally says credit card and she goes yes but it’s for shopping. I had to get real stern and tell her no after she kept harassing us to get the credit card. While all this is goin on the lady that was mean to us at the dressing room was watching. We finally pay and go to leave and the lady from the dressing room follows behind us the whole way to the door as if she was scared we were gonna try and steal something. Once we walk out the door she turns around and goes back. It was quite literally nothing but rude people the whole time. At one point the fitting room lady was telling an employee what to do and was being so mean to the employee . The employee even looked at me and said “it’s gonna be a long day” . I don’t get how JCPenney would allow people like this to work in their stores. We will never be back. My nanny and me never stole a thing in our life and we felt like we were being treated like a thief. They treat customers like crap and their fellow employees. You also get a coupon when you walk on the door and they tell you it goes on top of the sale already goin on. That’s a lie. Check your receipts. This place will go to the dirt and it’s no one’s fault but there own.
