Raptis Rare Books is truly heaven on earth for book lovers. Whether you’re visiting Palm Beach or lucky enough to live here, this is an absolute must-see destination. The collection is unparalleled, easily one of the most extraordinary rare book collections I’ve ever experienced.
We’re talking first editions and signed works from literary giants like Lewis Carroll, F. Scott Fitzgerald, Richard Bach (Jonathan Livingston Seagull), William Shakespeare, George Orwell, Ernest Hemingway, Mark Twain, Jane Austen, Charles Dickens, and so many more. The depth, preservation, and curation of the collection is simply breathtaking.
The atmosphere feels like stepping into a private literary museum, refined, intimate, and inspiring. The team is knowledgeable, passionate, and incredibly welcoming, whether you’re a serious collector or just someone who deeply appreciates history and literature.
If you’re in Palm Beach and have any love for books, history, or culture, Raptis Rare Books is a hidden gem you absolutely cannot miss.

Had such an incredible first experience at Raptis! The young lady working was as friendly as could be and extremely knowledgeable.
As a person in recovery, I was pleasantly surprised when I saw their First Edition of Alcoholics Anonymous. To see that there really put some things in perspective as to its cultural impact on society. And my life.
Cannot wait to come back and see what else catches my eye!
