I’m not a first-time customer, and I’ve always admired Van Cleef & Arpels for its craftsmanship and beauty, which makes this experience even more upsetting. During my visit, I wasn’t offered different styles or sizes to compare, nor was I properly informed about all the available options. Because of this, I ended up purchasing a necklace that actually comes in two different sizes, something I only learned later. Since I extended the necklace by two inches, I was told it can no longer be exchanged. What makes this even more disheartening is that the piece was meant to be a push gift which would be very special and sentimental to me, but the experience ended up being stressful instead of joyful due to the lack of proper customer service and guidance. I truly hope Van Cleef & Arpels takes this feedback seriously and ensures that every client, especially returning ones, feels valued, supported, and informed when making such meaningful purchases.
