Went in to get information on a watch passed down from my grandmother and to hopefully purchase the Leve Single Earring. I had called prior (to the direct store and customer service) to ensure they would be able to help me for my watch and both employees assured me they would have the information for me if I went into the boutique. When I walked in, all employees were helping customers (none of whom bought anything, making their sales 0% on all three groups that were in there, shopping). So I waited and was completely ignored by the staff, not even an acknowledgment I was there (even including the first security guard on shift). Eventually a blonde employee got off the phone and asked the male employee (buzz cut black hair) who she was next to, to help the next customer (me). This man, looked at me and then looked around the store and asks, “Who’s the customer?” Mind you, at this point, I am the ONLY person in there that doesn’t work there. I brushed past this, and proceeded to ask my questions first about the watch. Both of them completely dismissed me, saying they couldn’t answer any questions and would only be able to send it out for this information. This was frustrating since I was told otherwise on the phone, but what was more frustrating was the attitude these two employees gave me. Just because I didn’t look like I was purchasing anything or didn’t make that point first, they were so dismissive of me and in a sense mocking my questions. They made me feel silly for asking questions about an important passed down watch. Because of how rude they were, I didn’t even bring up the earring cuff I wanted to purchase (which would have actually been a sale, considering the three other sets of customers prior didn’t make a purchase). I walked out empty handed, no answers to my questions, and with a BAD taste in my mouth- specifically from these two employees. I do not want to give my business to a boutique that is so rude to customers they don’t feel are worthy of their time. It was a HUGE disappointment.

My husband and I worked with Mary Jane a couple of months ago while selecting a few special pieces for our wedding, and she made the entire experience such a joy! She was incredibly attentive, knowledgeable, and brought such a warm, genuine energy that made shopping at Cartier feel truly special.
