  Employee was negligent in advising me towards how exchanges are processed. Bought some stuff on Dec. 27th with a gift card + credit card & went to make an exchange on Jan 5th which I was supposed to be credited $66 for, to my original form of payment. I asked the employee if they needed my credit card & they said no. However, they failed to tell me that the outstanding balance was going to be returned to a gift card I tossed 9 days ago ! Got on the phone with CS and they advised I should see the refund on my credit card posted by the 19th & assured me that the last 4 numbers of the card it was going to didn’t represent my own due to security purposes. Call back on the 20th & now they’re telling me the refund went to the now-discarded gift card and there’s nothing they can do about it. Asked for an escalation & was told i’d get a call back in 10 business days. Just like that a 14 day wait turns into 28 days for a $66 credit … unreal.

  It's unbelievable that I've been shopping at this store for so many years, but I was very disappointed with the way I was treated. It's happened several times that I've been treated badly, and I saw a store employee with a vape inside the store vaping which I find strange since I've been a customer for years. The guy is a store manager . So please, I ask that you correct this because you shouldn't be doing it, it looks very bad in the store

  My husband went to return a tuxedo jacket (which was disappointing because it seems as if Express has decreased their quality of clothing items) and he was met with so many questions and reasons why they weren’t going to allow it (loose button, smelling of cologne, etc). Eddie was able to de-escalate while listening to his concerns and accepted the return. My husband is a frequent customer and because of this exchange he’ll continue to shop at Express. Thanks Eddie.

  Unfair Billing Practices – Be Careful I’m warning others to be cautious with the Express Credit Card through Comenity Bank. I was hit with repeated late fees and monthly “minimum interest charges,” even after making payments. One fee was refunded, which shows they recognized the issue, yet more fees were added afterward. This feels like fee stacking and is financially predatory. I contacted customer service and a supervisor, but no one provided a real solution. I am now escalating the situation through the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) because I will not allow this account to damage my finances or credit over unfair charges. If you’re considering opening this card, think twice.
