  I usually love shopping at Alo, but today I had a really disappointing experience. The girl who handled my pickup was extremely rude, and the service overall was poor.

  I had a deeply uncomfortable experience at the Alo location inside the Mall at Millenia in Orlando that I can no longer ignore. This isn’t based on a one-time visit — it has been a pattern over multiple occasions. From the moment I walked into the store, I was closely watched without being offered any genuine assistance. Instead of feeling welcomed as a paying customer, I felt surveilled. Staff members were whispering over their headsets while looking in my direction, which created an atmosphere that felt discriminatory and extremely unprofessional. The fitting room experience was particularly disappointing. The staff there were noticeably rude, dismissive, and gave off the impression that I didn’t belong. That feeling extended throughout the store — including management. One of the managers, in particular, spoke in a condescending tone, as if I were incapable of understanding basic communication. It was disrespectful and unnecessary. What stands out most is the lack of customer service when you are Black. There is a clear difference in how customers are treated, and it’s unacceptable — especially in a store where I have spent a significant amount of money in the past. Being made to feel like a potential threat rather than a valued customer is not only hurtful, it’s absurd. After today, I will no longer support this location at the Mall at Millenia. I strongly believe the staff — including management — would benefit from proper diversity, inclusion, and customer service training. No one should feel profiled or unwelcome while shopping, regardless of who they are.

  No complaints about the items, but the staff is unfriendly and there is no help with choosing anything. The fitting rooms are dirty, with dust stuck to the floor!!! At the checkout, everyone seems half-asleep…

  No issues with the goods itself. Horrible attitude from the staff. No one offered any help in 30 min my wife and I shopped. Dirty in the fitting room. Felt like I was offered a life time opportunity to buy 5 items for $500 and should be thankful from my end. Best moment was when a security smiled and thanked for visiting the shop I do not recommend visiting this specific branch

  I would not recommend this location due to poor customer service. The staff seemed to lack empathy and effective communication skills, which made the interaction frustrating. I believe the staff could benefit from more training in customer service. It’s especially surprising, given the predominantly Hispanic staff, that the environment wasn’t more welcoming. I hope this feedback is taken seriously to improve the experience for future customers. I do think reporting this location to their corporate office and/or the EEOC may be necessary.
