- VMV. McpearApr 22, 20261.0I have had a horrible experience with True Fashionista since the start. I traveled a long distance to consign a large amount of designer clothing to Naples, thinking that this would be the best place because I had a lot of high end brands from Ralph Lauren, Gucci, Coach, Tommy Bahamas, Lilly Pulitzer, J McLaughlin, very expensive items, and it was worth driving back to Naples, where I used to live to consign a large amount of things. Before I drove so far, I called and asked how things worked. They said no appointment needed, just come in anytime during open hours. We will go through your items, no maximum. I explained I was driving four hours. The girl that took my things was rude, seemed like she didn’t want to be there, bad attitude, was not helpful at all, and just not professional. All my items were on hangers or neatly folded, they were all in great condition. She threw them in one of their dirty bins, balling them up, I was shocked. I tried to help her by neatly folding items, and she said “oh don’t bother they’re gonna dump them on the floor anyway when they go through them”. I was shocked !!! I owned and ran a Consignment Shop for 16 years and I would never Treat people’s property the way this place does!! This is a warehouse and nothing more!! After seeing their treatment, I stopped bringing more of my things in and had my husband take the rest back out to the car. I wish I had just asked for everything back, because it’s been a nightmare ever since. So I brought my things in December and I was planning on coming back to pick up any unsold items, from the other wonderful Naples consignment shop that was so professional, so kind and was thrilled to have my clothes. They took over 100 items, during a non consignment day!! Sold everything but 5 items! Over $4,000. !!! So I wanted to pick up what I had left at True fashionista. But when I Went in to pick them up. They told me I couldn’t because they didn’t put them out until four weeks after I brought them in so my 90 days was not up yet. While there I found out that they had priced the few L’eggiardro tops that sell for close to $200 a top for $18. When I asked if I could take them back, they said they did not go out until February, and no I could not take anything back priced under $25 and it’s automatically donated!! If you want to get something back, you have to pay $40 for it to be returned to you. Even though there’s a L’eggiardro store on third Avenue they obviously had no idea the value of them. Look it up !!! And to think that in order to either take them back, or change the price,, you have to actually buy your own clothes back! How is this even legal? if they decide not to take items, and you are not able to pick them up, you do have the choice to have them send them to you, which I asked to have done. Well, they charged me $20 and they never changed my address in their computer from when I was a consigner eight years ago, I never got the items, And I still got charged! They are not taking any responsibility for it. Also, when I went to pick up my check, my account said they owed me $248 + $20 shipping, = $268. and they would only allow me to get $196, they also said some things had not been sold for a week and that someone could return them, during that time so they can’t pay you. Why would they allow people to return consigned items? So now they’re saying I have $58 in my account but they’re telling me I only have $16.20. All I can say is BEWARE of this place. It is not professionally run, the people waiting on you are rude, don’t care, it’s like the Sams Club of consignment shops! Forget, anbout trying anything on if you want to buy anything, because I was gonna buy several things but the line was so long you couldn’t get into the dressing rooms. I used to consign when Jennifer was in the other location, when I lived in Naples ,and it was much better run, than it is now she got too big to run a professional business.

I spent 10 minutes shopping and at least 40 mins waiting in line for a fitting room then another 15 minutes waiting to pay, at least the staff had a good attitude because I can’t imagine having to put up with patrons swarming the lines only to watch the people in front of them take forever trying on clothes and then modeling them for their friends forever before making a decision. Also some of the other reviews are concerning and the responses that cross reference their name to their database seem unnecessary

How much do you pay for your items?
If you sell to us for check on the spot, we offer approximately 30% of the lowest price we sell it for. If you consign with us, that amount becomes approximately 50% of the selling price of the item.
How long does the store credits lasts?
In store credit is good forever. You do not have to use the credit the same day.
What is your return policy?
We gladly accept returns that have ALL tags attached (including security and return tags) and original receipt according to the policies below.
In store purchases can be returned for a merchandise credit in the form of a TF Merchandise card within 5-days of purchase. After 5 days, returned items may be re-consigned.
Online orders must have a postmarked return date within 5-days of receipt of order and be accompanied by the original packing slip. Items received after the allotted time or with the security tag and/or store tags tampered with, missing or removed cannot be returned. Do you only accept designer items?
No, we accept designer items as well as items in the mid-market stores (White House Black Market, J Crew, Ann Taylor, etc). However, we do not purchase items from discounters such as Target, Walmart JC Penny or Sears.
How long will the buying process take?
It depends on how many people we have in front of you and how many items you have. We will send you a text message when we are done sorting your items.
Do you offer an option to consign items?
Yes, that is what makes us different from everyone. We offer you the option to sell your items for check payment, consign them and also use the money on your account to purchase things tax free.
What is the process to consign Furniture & Home Decor?
Before you bring your items for consignment, please send us a photo for review. This allows us to ensure that your items meet the preferences of our clientele before you visit us. Email pictures to jennifer@truefashionistas.com

Do you take all the seasons year-round?
• We welcome consignment items that are suitable for the spring, summer, or fall seasons at any time, regardless of the current season.
• This means that you can bring in spring dresses, summer swimwear, fall sweaters, and other seasonal items whenever it is convenient for you.
• Winter items, including coats, scarves, boots, and other cold-weather essentials, are accepted for consignment during the fall and winter seasons only.

Do you offer a drop and run service?
Are you in a rush and can't wait for us to look through your items? We offer a drop and run service. Drop you items and come back at a later time to pick up your money or sign your contract.

How does your online discounts work?
We offer all kinds of discounts that are aligned with our sales. This means that we will create coupon codes or automatic codes for our shoppers to enjoy online sales. We also have Online Rewards and Online Store Credit but they cannot be combined. One discount only per transaction. Our system wont allow us to combine these.
How Do We Price Your Items?
We do extensive research to price our items and we price in the middle because we feel that is where our items sell best! The goal is to sell the items as fast and fairly as we can.

At True Fashionistas our experienced processing team does the research and pricing. We price your items fairly, as we do the vast research to ensure we have the best price. However, if there are any questions about the price of your items feel free to call or ask in person.
How Fast Do You Sell Your Items?
We sell 93% of our item within the 90-day consignment period
Can I Get my Items Back Early?
Once the items are placed on consignment as a part of our contract, we kindly ask that they stay the entire 90-days. True Fashionistas puts in a lot of time, effort, and money to process the items and place them online and in store.
However, if you would like your items back early, we do impose a $20 per item early termination fee.
Do I Get My Items Back If They Don’t Sell?
All items priced $25 and under (before the buyer's fees) will be donated at the end of the agreement if they do not sell. We donate.
All items over $25 will be pulled after 90 days, and you will be notified twice (one phone call, one email) and given two weeks to pick up those items. We are willing to ship them (for a fee) if you are out of town, or you can give permission to someone else to get them. If items are not picked up within the two-week period, your items will be donated.
What pricing category will my items be in?
We have several categories of pricing. However, the most common ones are low Mid-Market, Contemporary, Designer, and High-End Designer. Some examples of what we consider to be in these categories are as follows:
High-End Designer (custom pricing): Dolce & Gabbana, Moschino, Carolina Herrera, Herve Ledger, Brunello Cuccinelli
Designer Contemporary (on average $25-above): Tory Burch, Jimmy Choo, Alice & Olivia,
DVF, Kate Spade, Farm Rio
Mid-Market (on average $10-$24): Michael Kors, Ann Taylor, White House Black Market, Zara, Free People, Anthropologie
Lower Mid-Market (on average $10-Under): Bebe, Isacc Mizarahi, Torrid, H&M

Errors
We make every effort to ensure the accuracy of our prices and information. However, mistakes and typographical errors may nevertheless occur. We reserve the right to make corrections. In the event you have purchased an item based on misinformation, True Fashionistas reserves the right to cancel the transaction with no further liability on its part.
Brand names and trademarks
The brand names are the trademarks of their respective owners. We are a reseller store.
If I order an item online, is it always available?
Due to the nature of our business (we usually only have 1 of each item and the item may sell in the store before we can remove it from the site). We reserve the right to cancel the order and refund your money, if this happens. We will, however, contact you to let you know. Here at True Fashionistas we always Say, "if you like it buy it before someone else does!"
Can you pick up your purchased online items in-store?
Yes, you can chose in-store pick up when checking out and or We will contact you via email as soon as your order is ready for pick up. It is usually within 24-hours.
How quickly do we ship your online orders?
Items purchased before 1 pm EST usually ship the same day via USPS. Items purchased on the weekend or Holiday, will be shipped the next business day. In the event shipping will take longer, we will contact you.
