She then offered to take us to a less expensive area. It felt like she made that judgment the moment she saw us. Is this the kind of customer experience Ralph Lauren stands for?
- PLParker LasherMar 20, 20265.0I cannot speak to the customer service provided by other sales representatives; however, my experience with Rob was outstanding. He greeted me as soon as I walked through the door, directed me to the appropriate section for the item I was looking for, and spent a significant amount of time helping me find the correct size. What was even more exceptional, though, was how he treated me. I will admit that I was dressed poorly. I needed to shop for a dress shirt quickly, so I ran out of the house in clothes that likely did not reflect the typical customer who shops there. Despite that, he treated me no differently than anyone else. I will return solely because of Rob. I hope that one day I walk in and see him managing the store, as his customer service is truly exceptional. He went above and beyond for me. I cannot say the same for Vineyards next door. While waiting for my shirt to be pressed, I walked in and was not acknowledged at all, while the person who entered behind me at the same time was immediately greeted. This clearly highlighted the difference in customer service I received compared to Rob.

Still no greeting but the salesperson did grace us with her presence to let us know the cashmere throw we were touching is $700. No “Hello” or “Are you looking for something” or “Can I help you” Store sales must be beyond exceptional for management to tolerate such snotty sales behavior.
