At the time of drop-off, the consignment counter employee, “Star” was dismissive, rude, and condescending. Notably, another customer at the counter — a frequent shopper — advised me not to leave my fine items a True Fashionistas and suggested #Audrey’s in downtown Naples as a more appropriate venue for luxury consignment. Two weeks later, I received a text from Tru Fashionistas stating that the store was “passing” on all of my items. When I returned to retrieve them, “Star” returned my items wadded in a ball and stuffed into a garbage bag. She then informed me that I was banned from the store due to the “insurrection!” When I calmly asked what she meant by that term, I was told it was because I, and the long time customer who spoke to me had been “rude” to her — which I strongly dispute. I did not raise my voice, create a disturbance, or behave disrespectfully at any time. I was particularly disturbed by the casual use of the word “insurrection” to describe a routine customer interaction. That term carries serious historical, legal, and civic meaning. Applying it to a retail disagreement reflects either a profound misunderstanding of its significance or a willingness to use inflammatory language toward a customer. As I quietly walked to my car, a man affiliated with the store followed me to the parking lot, and threatened, “That’s what you get for being mean to our employees.” I attempted multiple times to contact co-owners #jenniferjohnson and #bradleyjohnson and Store Managers to discuss this incident and received no response. I leave it to prospective customers to decide whether this level of professionalism, customer treatment, and language is appropriate when entrusting valuable items to a consignment business. I strongly recommend exercising caution — particularly with luxury pieces.

How Does Sezzle Work?
How it works is that it splits your entire order into 4 interest-free payments over 6 weeks. No fees if you pay on time with zero impact to your credit.
How much do you pay for your items?
If you sell to us for check on the spot, we offer approximately 30% of the lowest price we sell it for. If you consign with us, that amount becomes approximately 50% of the selling price of the item.
How long does the store credits lasts?
In store credit is good forever. You do not have to use the credit the same day.
What is your return policy?
We gladly accept returns that have ALL tags attached (including security and return tags) and original receipt according to the policies below.
In store purchases can be returned for a merchandise credit in the form of a TF Merchandise card within 5-days of purchase. After 5 days, returned items may be re-consigned.
Online orders must have a postmarked return date within 5-days of receipt of order and be accompanied by the original packing slip. Items received after the allotted time or with the security tag and/or store tags tampered with, missing or removed cannot be returned. Do you only accept designer items?
No, we accept designer items as well as items in the mid-market stores (White House Black Market, J Crew, Ann Taylor, etc). However, we do not purchase items from discounters such as Target, Walmart JC Penny or Sears.
How long will the buying process take?
It depends on how many people we have in front of you and how many items you have. We will send you a text message when we are done sorting your items.
Do you offer an option to consign items?
Yes, that is what makes us different from everyone. We offer you the option to sell your items for check payment, consign them and also use the money on your account to purchase things tax free.
What is the process to consign Furniture & Home Decor?
Before you bring your items for consignment, please send us a photo for review. This allows us to ensure that your items meet the preferences of our clientele before you visit us. Email pictures to jennifer@truefashionistas.com

• We offer a wish list where you can put things on your list and we will call you as soon as they come in (very popular).

Yes, we accept formal wear of all types (evening wear, ball gowns, prom and pageant dresses, etc.)

Do you take all the seasons year-round?
• We welcome consignment items that are suitable for the spring, summer, or fall seasons at any time, regardless of the current season.
• This means that you can bring in spring dresses, summer swimwear, fall sweaters, and other seasonal items whenever it is convenient for you.
• Winter items, including coats, scarves, boots, and other cold-weather essentials, are accepted for consignment during the fall and winter seasons only.
• This ensures that our inventory remains relevant to the current season and meets the demands of our customers.
Do you offer a drop and run service?
Are you in a rush and can't wait for us to look through your items? We offer a drop and run service. Drop you items and come back at a later time to pick up your money or sign your contract.

Do you shop in our store all the time and are looking for ways to save money? We have a program just for you, our frequent buyer program. For every $20 you spend, you get apoint on our system. When you receive 20 points, you will receive 20% off your next purchase. No strings attached!

How does your online discounts work?
We offer all kinds of discounts that are aligned with our sales. This means that we will create coupon codes or automatic codes for our shoppers to enjoy online sales. We also have Online Rewards and Online Store Credit but they cannot be combined. One discount only per transaction. Our system wont allow us to combine these.
How Do We Price Your Items?
We do extensive research to price our items and we price in the middle because we feel that is where our items sell best! The goal is to sell the items as fast and fairly as we can.

At True Fashionistas our experienced processing team does the research and pricing. We price your items fairly, as we do the vast research to ensure we have the best price. However, if there are any questions about the price of your items feel free to call or ask in person.
How Fast Do You Sell Your Items?
We sell 93% of our item within the 90-day consignment period
Can I Get my Items Back Early?
Once the items are placed on consignment as a part of our contract, we kindly ask that they stay the entire 90-days. True Fashionistas puts in a lot of time, effort, and money to process the items and place them online and in store.
However, if you would like your items back early, we do impose a $20 per item early termination fee.
Do I Get My Items Back If They Don’t Sell?
All items priced $25 and under (before the buyer's fees) will be donated at the end of the agreement if they do not sell. We donate.
All items over $25 will be pulled after 90 days, and you will be notified twice (one phone call, one email) and given two weeks to pick up those items. We are willing to ship them (for a fee) if you are out of town, or you can give permission to someone else to get them. If items are not picked up within the two-week period, your items will be donated.
What pricing category will my items be in?
We have several categories of pricing. However, the most common ones are low Mid-Market, Contemporary, Designer, and High-End Designer. Some examples of what we consider to be in these categories are as follows:
High-End Designer (custom pricing): Dolce & Gabbana, Moschino, Carolina Herrera, Herve Ledger, Brunello Cuccinelli
Designer Contemporary (on average $25-above): Tory Burch, Jimmy Choo, Alice & Olivia,
DVF, Kate Spade, Farm Rio
Mid-Market (on average $10-$24): Michael Kors, Ann Taylor, White House Black Market, Zara, Free People, Anthropologie
Lower Mid-Market (on average $10-Under): Bebe, Isacc Mizarahi, Torrid, H&M

Errors
We make every effort to ensure the accuracy of our prices and information. However, mistakes and typographical errors may nevertheless occur. We reserve the right to make corrections. In the event you have purchased an item based on misinformation, True Fashionistas reserves the right to cancel the transaction with no further liability on its part.
Brand names and trademarks
The brand names are the trademarks of their respective owners. We are a reseller store.
If I order an item online, is it always available?
Due to the nature of our business (we usually only have 1 of each item and the item may sell in the store before we can remove it from the site). We reserve the right to cancel the order and refund your money, if this happens. We will, however, contact you to let you know. Here at True Fashionistas we always Say, "if you like it buy it before someone else does!"
Can you pick up your purchased online items in-store?
Yes, you can chose in-store pick up when checking out and or We will contact you via email as soon as your order is ready for pick up. It is usually within 24-hours.
How quickly do we ship your online orders?
Items purchased before 1 pm EST usually ship the same day via USPS. Items purchased on the weekend or Holiday, will be shipped the next business day. In the event shipping will take longer, we will contact you.
How does the consignment process work at True Fashionistas?
You can sell items for an on-the-spot check or consign them and receive approximately 50% of the selling price. We also offer a drop and run service for faster processing.
What types of items does True Fashionistas accept for consignment?
