They charged me $65.00 plus tax in February 2026. On Amazon, the batteries are available for $1.45 (Renata 371 SR920SW Batteries - 1.55V Silver Oxide 371 Watch Battery). So Bucherer charges $63.55 to insert the battery into the watch? Others do this service for their clients for free. I'm shocked!

I wanted a Rolex brand leather watch strap and buckle for an antique Rolex watch. I did not want a full service as a previous authorized dealer had told me I would need to do. A Bucherer rep left a voice message stating that they could do this but I had to bring the watch in. I booked an appointment online. My wife and I drove 2.5 hours there only to be told that the watch would need to be sent out for service. The deceit continued when they stated that Rolex had just changed their policy just the day before my appointment. This could not be true as another authorized dealer had already told me this several weeks earlier. If that were true, why wasn’t I contacted prior to driving 2.5 hours (5hrs with the return trip) for my appointment? They did not own this and blamed Rolex. Totally wasted my and my wife’s time. A very dishonest establishment and not to be trusted.
