  I went into the store today ready to shop and spend money, but the customer service completely ruined the experience. Every sales associate I encountered was extremely rude and unwelcoming. I was made to feel like a bother simply for browsing and not needing help finding my size. At one point, I placed an item on a nearby shelf while looking through other pieces, and an associate immediately told me I couldn’t put it there — instead of politely offering to take it or assist. After spending a significant amount of money, I didn’t even receive a simple “thank you” or “have a nice day.” To make matters worse, the same associate was on their earpiece laughing and chatting while customers were standing around needing service. Very unprofessional. After reading other reviews, it seems this isn’t an isolated issue. I’ll be taking my business to other locations like Dadeland Mall or the Design District where customers are actually treated with respect. If I could give zero stars, I would.

  Costumers should be able to browse without feeling pressured. The manager with the glasses was extremely intrusive and made shopping uncomfortable. Her approach felt aggressive rather than helpful. Instead of helping, she constantly interrupted and focused on managing their staff rather than the costumer in front of her. If im not being listened to, there’s no point in asking for assistance. I expect much better from alo. horrible experience!

  I was excited when Alo opened in Brickell and wanted to support the store. Unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. I ordered an item online and went in to return it. The cashier (woman with blue nails) was extremely rude and unhelpful. She refused my return in a very impolite and dismissive way, without offering any real explanation or solution. Right after, I drove to the Alo Design District location, where they processed the exact same return and refund within seconds with no issue at all. This feels like a customer service and training problem specific to the Brickell location. Staff should be better trained professionally and respectfully. I hope management addresses this because people can have a better shopping experience. Thanks

  GINA, this message is for you, the apparent “manager” of this location. She needs to be demoted or sent to repeat training. If I could give her a -100, I would. I was frankly flabbergasted at how she treated me. I have spent a lot of money at Alo, and I have the highest status level. And to be treated as aggressively and rudely as GINA did, is unacceptable! I simply asked to speak with her about a gift certificate I had that the other employee, who was also not very helpful, was not able to enter in the system, GINA came to the counter and responded very aggressively and said she was “trying to help” and to “get the phone out of her face”… All I did was show her the screen so she could see the code! It’s like she was angry and I was not rude at all. I simply told her her reaction was ridiculous and walked out the store, leaving the jacket that I was going to purchase and asked for her name. I have called ALO corporate and filed a complaint, I will be sending emails as well to store owners and the franchise. This is unacceptable and she needs to be reprimanded for this classless behavior. You are not better than your customers just because you work at ALO. I do not need a coupon, I just need her to change her ways and realize that she cannot treat customers that way. Simply unbelievable.
