I purchased the Born in Roma Donna Green Stravaganza perfume from Valentino’s official website as a birthday gift, selecting the gift box and personalized engraving. Unfortunately, the order arrived completely unprofessional: the perfume, samples, and gift box were all separate in plain cardboard boxes and different days, not the luxury presentation promised.
I reached out to customer service and explained the issue. While they were polite and tried to explain that the packaging and delivery were out of their control due to high seasonal demand, the response did not resolve the problem. They offered only a 10% discount for a future purchase, which does not reflect the disappointment of receiving what looked like a low-quality, poorly packaged order from a premium brand.
I am very disappointed with Valentino’s handling of this situation, and I will not be purchasing directly from them again. For a brand of this reputation, I expected much better, especially for a gift meant to be special.

While in Miami we had couple of hours prior to taking a flight, Michelle was very helpful to not only locate the product I was looking for but also to quickly arrange delivery to the boutique (specific color and size slippers).

I reached out to the this location last year after being told they'd be my point of contact for a repair I needed to get done for a pair of shoes I got less than 6 months and wore once. 3 months in...I never heard back. So I reached out to the store location and with a lot of back and forth (Valentino apparently doesn't believe in warranty or repair if you have purchased outside of the states - even if you provide them all the purchase information) they decided to honor the repair without cost. They set the expectations 6-8 weeks and that was back in April. I have reached out to them multiples times via email about an update. Sometimes needing to follow up more than once for them to respond. The two associates on the email thread stopped responding and so I reached out to the store manager via phone. Gave him a run down of everything that happened and he proceeded to tell me how his team failed to set proper expectations. Going on about how that was the problem and that he would follow up with me in 4 days after speaking to corporate. It's been over a month and he hasn't called back. It's obvious why the employees feel they can ignore customers, their manager sets the tone that it's acceptable because he himself being the store manager did it. I reached out to Valentino customer care on 7.7 via email explaining the situation again because they emailed me saying the store has been in contact. That wasn't accurate because they "contact" they were referring to was from months ago. I never heard back from customer care to my follow up email. I called customer care just now and provided them the ticket numbers I was given both by CC and the store. They weren't able to locate either. A supervisor was unavailable for me to speak to so he told me to call back tomorrow. Called Miami District twice - no answer. Extremely frustrating experience and honestly quite brand damaging due to the employees lack of follow through and let's not forget the store manager who had no problem blaming his employees but then lacks the professionalism to make it right.
